On Thursday, October 21, ARTreach will be hosting the ART of Africa reception; a collection of incredible artwork made possible by ARTreach and an international partnership with the Uganda Arts Council. Over 70 works of art created by emerging and struggling Uganda artists are priced to sell.

The ART of Africa will be represented by the Agave Road atmosphere and displayed as an array of international savories, spices and food and bar beverages. The event offers international music and entertainment including; URGEWORKS, Jawad, and Dan Egger-Belandria. Wildlife sculptures by Ivan Lovett and Raj Paul and many other specialty items created by local and international artists will also be on display.

The ARTreach partnership with the Uganda Arts Council is an example of how a local community organization can have an impact worldwide to help thousands of people through successful partnerships and collaborations. Don't miss this culminating exhibition of this international ARTreach project that took two years to complete. Proceeds from The Art of Africa Exhibit will benefit Art Programs serving children in Katy and the greater Houston area.
