L.A Street Artist, ALEC Monopoly has arrived to “Park Place” and this is his first solo show in Los Angeles. The showcase features 360 of the artist’s past to current paintings as seen on the street worldwide, housed in the LAB ART Gallery on La Brea. “Monopoly has always been a great way to learn how the world turns,” said the artist. “With all games, as in life, we have the opportunity to start-over in order to succeed.” So true.
Monopoly is one of the hottest young artists on the Los Angeles scene at the moment, and is known for his satirical messages through his work using the Monopoly man to reference contemporary situations. Richie Rich, Jack Nicholson, Bob Marley, Twiggy, Basquiat, Madonna and Bob Dylan are all represented in Alec’s art in every size and variation.

The Oscar-winning actor and gorgeous guy furnished the collector car to be painted for the event as a real-life designer game piece “I’m proud to support ALEC’s vision,” said Adrien Brody. “His work portrays a positive outlook in ways that remind us that there is always a solution to a problem.” Atta boy.
