Art by Jada Fire makes a perfect Mother's Day gift

Mother’s Day is rapidly approaching and if you’re still looking for a present for mom, check out Jada Fire’s artwork at Whole Foods in Las Vegas. Jada, the co-owner of Barefoot Sanctuary, paints from the soul lending a sense of spirituality to her subjects which makes one of her pieces a perfect gift for your yoga-practicing mom.

Many of Jada’s pieces are inspired by Africa, a place she has spent time, including a recent teacher training she held in Zambia. In one painting eyes stare from a face that is half human, half tiger. For the yogi it represents the dualities of human existence and our search for balance. In another, two giraffes, one larger than the other…maybe mother and child…lovingly touch noses. Her work is filled with the mystery and sensuality of life. She weaves the primal power of existence into every brush stroke.

“Painting is like dancing…for me it is the same medium…both disciplines fueled with an inner fire and passion for life,” states Jada.

You can find Jada’s unframed artwork at Whole Foods in Las Vegas for $37.99.
