Art Boutiki ushers out February with Big Rock Show

This Thursday (Feb. 28th) SLG Art Boutiki turns out the lights on February with a triple billing that encompases both Northern and Southern California sounds.

Orange County's Still the Sky's Limit will headline the evening, with their own blend of guitar-oriented, emo-core. Art Boutiki will be SSL's second San Jose show of the day for the L.A. area trio, as they'll be cominng off a noontime set at Leland High School. In support will be San Jose's neo-goth act Claire on a Dare, as well as local beat rockers, The Forms, as they prepare for the March release their debut record, "Trapped By the Sun."

Interestingly enough, Claire on a Dare will debuting a new member at the session, as Carla Riggi will be replacing former lead vocalist, Raya Ghajar, who left the band earlier this month. Originally a product of Scranton, Pa, Riggi has spent the balance of her days in the Bay Area immersed in music, performing in an array of acts and styles. Most recently, Riggi collaborated with artists from SFRMA.org on a range projects as a jazz and classical vocalist. On the rock side of things, Riggi served as front vox for SF troupe Hey Man Hey.
