Darcy Meys, the new owner of Art Attack in Flemington, is dedicated to continue offering fun and affordable ‘Paint Your Own Pottery’ and glass fusing workshops and events. Formerly a customer and now owner, Darcy aims to provide a creative atmosphere for all ages.
On Friday, Feb. 15 from 6-8 p.m., Art Attack will be hosting a ‘Kids Night Out: Playing with the Queen of Hearts’. This Valentine’s Day Party is for ages 5 and up. Price per child is $24 and includes an oversize ice cream bowl to paint as well as pizza, cupcakes, a ‘Make Your Own Sundae’ bar, music, games and dancing. Please call the store to RSVP to the party.
Though some workshops and events require preregistration, walk-ins are always welcome. ‘Paint Your Own Pottery’ pricing depends on the particular item, but children’s pieces range from $5-$15 and adult pottery ranges from $10-$40. The price includes the bisque, paint, glazing and firing. Glass fusing projects start at $10.
Parents with children 6 months and younger can stop in for a free baby footprint tile. Art Attack will also personalize the tile with the child’s name and birthdate. No purchase is necessary for the free tile.
Art Attack will also be visiting the Bucks County Children’s Museum in New Hope, Pa. on Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. to make special Valentine’s Day plates. To register for this event, please call the Bucks County Children’s Museum at (215)693-1290. There is a $10 fee which includes materials.
