Art and lunch idea: Visit Lee Arts Mini Gallery

Opening Day by Cinda Berry
Cinda Berry

Just got a note from Lee Arts Director, Steve Munoz, about the Lee Arts Center Mini Gallery Show that is up now. Getting shows up and down on cue every month requires tremendous effort, especially when there is a mix of prints and pottery. Steve Munoz curates the work and often pairs pottery and prints that go well together. If you are collecting or redesigning a space at home, think about acquiring an ensemble as it appears in the gallery. To launch the start of baseball season, printmaker Cinda Berry has lobbed one right across the plate. Soon I will stop by the exhibit and report more about the “Spring and Sprung” exhibit as the experience is most refreshing. Patrons often walk across the street to either the Asian Kitchen or District Taco for a fine lunch. This show is up until May 3rd.

“Ongoing for the month of April is our Spring and Sprung exhibit. We asked our member participants to participate in a ceramics and printmaking show that features Spring as the subject. Who knew at the time that Spring would always be fleeting and Winter seems to want to linger for the long term!

Come by Lee Arts Center to enjoy a little bit of Spring in our mini-Gallery."
