According to Gematsu, the game will have tutorials that will teach you how to draw around 40 different Pokemon. There will also be templates of about 100 Pokemon that will let you draw them from scratch. All of your artwork can eventually be shared on the MiiVerse.
The past games in the Art Academy series have made their way overseas, so there is a good chance that those interested in this iteration will have a chance to play it no matter where you are from.
Most Art Academy games have come out specifically for the handheld Nintendo systems, however the series saw its first home console launch with the WiiU version that was released last year. All the games feature very simple art training and help users hone their skills as artist.
Pokemon Art Academy will be available for retail and digital download. It is priced at 3,619 yen which equates to about 35 USD.
