He’s Back! After being away from the Hollywood spotlight for more than two decades, Arsenio Hall is once again holding his own in a sea of Late Night Talk. The Comedian/Actor/Talk show host is going to be sitting down with the Queen of talk Oprah Winfrey for a special on Oprah’s Next Chapter.
In the words of hip hop artist LL Cool J “Don’t call it a Comeback”, Arsenio Hall seems to have just reappeared. He got the attention of us all when he took home the title of “Winner” on the 5th edition of Donald Trump’s hit show Celebrity Apprentice in 2012.
Hall will be sharing with fans and Oprah his journey back into the public eye, life as a single dad and the significance in being one of the only African American hosts in late-night talk today according to Electronic Urban Report.
The episode was filmed at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles and Hall even shares that when he was a young comic he took professional advice from former late night talk show host and fellow comedian Jay Leno.
Arsenio has received his share of recognition for his comedy performances in 1988 the NAACP awarded Hall with an Image Award for his supporting role in “Coming to America” and in 1989 Hall was awarded The American Comedy Award for his role in the film “Coming to America”.
