LOSC Lille and Belgian international winger Eden Hazard has been all over the lips of reporters and rumor makers for the last twelve months as the chance that he will make a major money transfer from France continues to look more and more likely.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been watching him for quite some time. The Frenchman knows he will have to sell in order to afford a player like Hazard but it is still not stopping him from being one of their major targets.
Wenger had this to say as quoted in the Daily Mail:
'I really like him (Hazard) and, for several reasons.
It's his creative power, his ability to miss-align the opponent, his vision of the game and his consummate skill to address the last pass which make him a very interesting player.
'You should know that each season, it is imperative to show a profit of between fifteen and twenty million pounds. I would add that the purpose of a coach is to always buy at a price he sees fit.'
The Daily Mirror likewise has a list 10 things to know about the player in honor of Chelsea Football Club being in the hunt for the player.
On a site dedicated to Hazard along there is a list of all the clubs that are currently believed interested in him. The top six being; Arsenal, Chelsea FC, Liverpool FC, Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid.
It will be interesting to see where the player's true interest lies as the summer draws closer. If he is looking for a major pay check then Manchester City, Real Madrid and possibly Paris Saint Germain will be the best place for that. However, only at PSG would he pretty much go straight to a first team spot.
However, if playing time is his primary concern and playing the English game I believe he would get the most first team action at either Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal. But his wages will not be the heights of what he could see elsewhere.
Hazard will have a true fight on his hands to figure out where he wants to be as there are sure to be at least five offers that will possibly be accepted that he will end up having to choose the one club who meet his personal terms the best.
