An Arrowhead homicide left an unconscious man found on a sidewalk soon dead in a local hospital this week, with 3 people ending up in police custody for questioning, the Inquisitr reports this Monday, Dec. 2. Law enforcement officials are still trying to piece together just what happened this Sunday surrounding the man’s death, following a Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs game.
The Arrowhead homicide does not have any official suspects in the case at this time, though 3 “persons of interest” have been taken in for police questioning. However, no details have been given whether official arrests have been made. The deceased man was first discovered on a sidewalk near Arrowhead Stadium, close to his vehicle.
Although medical teams soon arrived after 911 was called and the man was rushed to a hospital, emergency aid was not enough to save the man. He died less than an hour after being admitted to the local hospital.
A spokesman for the official investigation had this to say concerning the Arrowhead homicide and current findings:
“Talking to several witnesses that were out here in the parking lots, there was an individual who came back to his vehicle, saw someone inside the vehicle that did not belong. A struggle ensued between the two. That’s when the individual (who had been inside the vehicle) collapsed.
We don’t know if the person had a health condition, had a heart attack. We don’t know. We’re going to investigate this as a homicide until we hear differently. Right now it’s a suspicious death but we are going to investigate it as a homicide.”
It seems the man who died in fatal incident made it back to his car with his son; the young boy fled following a fight between the man and an unknown individual. The man’s death in the Arrowhead homicide is still being determined by the medical examiner.
After the man was found unconscious on the sidewalk, various witnesses were called in, and 3 people are in police custody, with arrest status still pending this week.
“Right now they’re persons of interest. Like I said, until we find out exactly how this person passed away, we’re going to investigate it as a homicide. They’re not suspects right now until we find out exactly what happened,” concluded the spokesperson.
