'Arrow' season 3 promo: Oliver and Felicity kissing, Thea training and more

The wait is almost over for "Arrow" season 3, and fortunately, an HD version of the newest promo was uploaded Saturday, Aug. 30, offering a tease of what's to come for a certain couple, one character's training, another getting tough with someone and more.

When season 3 of "Arrow" begins, Arrow is a hero in Starling. Crime is down, the people feel safe and Captain Lance calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. With that success, Oliver feels that he can finally have a private life, and he asks Felicity out on a date, which has already been teased in the trailer released at Comic-Con earlier this summer. That trailer, however, also shows him standing over her unconscious, and executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told us that "the date does not go exactly as planned for a variety of reasons." Is that because of the "deadly villain" teased in the season synopsis in Starling City that forces Oliver to realize he can't be Oliver Queen when the city needs The Arrow?

Well, this new promo, while short, does offer a look at a few things coming up – including something for "Olicity" fans. But first, in addition to more action, there's Laurel being all badass with a guy in a hospital, Sara being all Canary, Thea training, Malcolm with a bow and Arrow telling someone, "you have failed this city." Oh, and there's Oliver pulling Felicity in for a kiss, but will someone or something interrupt them? Is everything as it seems (especially since it's in the promo)?

"Arrow" season 3 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on the CW. What do you think of the new promo?
