'Arrow' season 2 finale sneak peek: Can this end without killing?

Team Arrow has to take a moment to regroup and gather weapons in the "Arrow" season 2 finale, "Unthinkable," as seen in the sneak peek the CW released on Tuesday, May 13. However, they do have something on their side: proof the cure works.

In the season 2 finale, Oliver has to decide once and for all if he's a killer or a hero, as Slade moves forward with his plan to kill one more person in Oliver's life. When Slade kidnaps someone close to his heart, Oliver is pushed to the edge and realizes that sometimes it takes doing the unthinkable to stop the monster. Meanwhile, Diggle takes on Amanda Waller with help from some friends, plus Thea turns to Roy in her time of need.

The "Unthinkable" clip shows Oliver, Diggle, Felicity, Roy and Lyla returning to the foundry to find it completely destroyed, proof that yes, it was compromised and Slade's army got to it. But Slade and his army aren't their only problem; there's also the matter of the city being bombed at dawn. "Waller's never seen a problem she didn't think couldn't be solved with a drone strike," Diggle says. This means it's time for the group to split up, with Diggle joining Lyla in trying to stop Waller or at least buy them some time to stop Slade. "'Til death do us part, right?" He asks. "This time it might," she tells him, and hopefully that's not foreshadowing anything.

Meanwhile, Oliver wants Felicity and Roy to get together as many weapons as possible, especially injection arrows for the cure, "which clearly works," he points out. "This ends tonight, without killing," he tells them. "There's been enough death already." Will Oliver be able to keep to that plan with what Slade has planned?

"Arrow" season 2 ends Wednesday at 8 p.m. on the CW. What do you think of this episode 23 "Unthinkable" sneak peek?
