'Arrow' season 2 episode 18 preview: The search is on in 'Deathstroke'

Slade (Manu Bennett) has made his move on "Arrow," and it likely spells serious trouble for Oliver (Stephen Amell) and those he loves in next week's episode, 218, "Deathstroke," for which the CW released an extended preview on Wednesday, March 26.

As the last "Arrow" ended, Thea (Willa Holland) decided to walk home from the club after Roy (Colton Haynes) broke up with her to protect her, and none other than Slade Wilson offered her a ride home. And if you had the slightest bit of hope that he would actually take her home, maybe just scare Oliver a bit but mostly leave Thea alone, well, you'd be very, very wrong.

In this next episode, the repercussions of Slade's move against Oliver are enormous, and while Oliver scrambles to protect his family, a key player in his team begins to question his decisions. Meanwhile, Isabel (Summer Glau) makes her move to take Queen Consolidated from Oliver.

The "Deathstroke" promo shows Slade cluing Thea in on the fact that she's not going home, and then he has her make a video pleading for help – one that Oliver seems to see in a very public place. "Now we fight back," Oliver says, and oh, there's going to be a lot of fighting. It looks like it's going to be an action-packed, edge-of-your-seat episode. "What are you going to do, kill me?" Slade asks Oliver, who then puts an arrow in him, but how will that scene play out? And if you weren't already worried, well, just listen to the very end of the preview.

"Arrow" season 2 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on the CW. What do you think of the episode 18 "Deathstroke" photos and promo?
