On Monday, The CW released the first photos from an upcoming episode of “Arrow” that has Oliver (Stephen Amell) facing off with Deathstroke (guest star Manu Bennett) in an island flashback.
We’ve already seen Deathstroke with his mask, but in “Betrayal,” viewers will get a chance to see the man behind the mask, Slade Wilson, in action and judging by the photos, he’s not a fan of Mr. Queen. How will a weakened Oliver get out of this one?
But Deathstroke is not the only villain Oliver will be going up against in the episode. Cyrus Vanch (guest star David Anders) was recently released from prison and he plans on doing what he can to secure his position in Starling City’s underworld, starting with taking down the vigilante.
As Vanch targets Oliver, Detective Lance (Paul Blackthorne) wants to bring down the criminal once and for all, but he makes a mistake that puts Laurel (Katie Cassidy) in Vanch’s crosshairs.
“Arrow” airs Wednesdays at 7 p.m. CST on The CW. “Betrayal” will air Feb. 6.
