David Anders is perhaps best known for his role on “Alias” as one of our all-time favorite TV villains, Julian Sark. Next week, Anders will bring his talents to “Arrow” for a guest appearance as a different bad guy.
On Thursday, The CW released the first video preview for the episode, “Betrayal.” Anders plays Cyrus Vanch, a criminal who was recently released from jail, and wants to reclaim his spot as the head of Starling City’s underworld. As the video shows, Vanch decides the best way to do that is to take down the biggest guy.
Vanch targets Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) alter ego just as Laurel (Katie Cassidy) once again goes to him for help in stopping Vanch. In doing so, Laurel unwittingly becomes Vanch’s target as well and he takes her hostage to set a trap for the vigilante. Oliver rushes to her rescue, but it looks like Vanch quickly gets the upper hand. How will Oliver save himself and Laurel?
“Arrow” airs Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. CST on The CW.
