If you’re a “Top Chef” fan, you'll need to check out Bravo’s newest culinary competition “Around the World in 80 Plates” premiering May 9 at 10 p. m. on Bravo. Every Wednesday there will be a whole new world of foodie competition for viewers to follow as 12 chefs embark on an international adventure of over 60,000 miles.

This globe-trotting culinary journey will test their skills and determination as each episode has contestants traveling to a different international city where they will have to learn local customs, cultures and cuisines.

The chefs will face new challenges, new experts, new twists and new food on their journey. They'll be competing in a kitchen takeovers where they will be challenged to not only recreate, but “reinvent” menus for world-renowned restaurants and their owners. Good luck with that!

Every week the chefs will work in teams to complete a culinary race and then the teams will take over local restaurants where they will have to impress the toughest critics of all: the regular customers. The losing team will have to send one chef home.

The "Around the World in 80 Plates" 12 competing chefs are Sai Pituk, Chaz Brown, Nicole Lou, Gary Walker, John Vermiglio, Kevin Lee, Avery Pursell, Jenna Johansen, Nick Lacasse, Elizabeth Garrett, Steve Postal, Clara Moore.

The show is hosted by “culinary gurus” Curtis Stone and Cat Cora and is produced by Magical Elves for Bravo with Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz serving as Executive Producers.

Bravo's new culinary competition, “Around the World in 80 Plates” premieres Wednesday, May 9 at 10 p. m. ET/PT.
