Around the Coyote Fall Art Festival Saturday and Sunday is at multiple sites

Around the Coyote Fall 2009 Art Festival is spread across six sites. Venues are open on Sat. Oct.17 from noon until 10 p.m. and on Sun. Oct.18 from noon until 6 p.m. Suggested donation is $10.

SlideLuck PotShow Chicago III at 1287 N. Milwaukee Ave., will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. on Sat. Oct.17 only. Admission is free but each attendee is requested to bring a dish and drinks to pass during the evening of artists and photographers gathering to show their work! Potluck is at 7 p.m. and the slideshow at 9 p.m.

Theatre and performances at 1287 N. Milwaukee Ave. on Saturday only. Think/dance collective performs at 3 p.m. and Binge a solo piece by Dani Bryant will be performed at 4 p.m.

Video and New Media Art at 1240 N. Milwaukee will include Dynamic Ascension Live! on Saturday. It is algorithmically generated, guided meditation. The Ease of Oak, curated by Patrick Cunningham on both days.

Visual Art The 1st Annual Art Voices Emerging Artists Exhibition will be housed at 1815-25 W. Division, 1275 N. Milwaukee and 1238-40 N. Ashland with Curator’s Choice curated by Britton Bertran.

Music has two venues. On Sat., at 1815-25 W Division, Illusions of Safety, Moxie Motive , curated by Mike Wood and on Sun. at 2011 W North Ave., Magic Carpet, Candle Hoax, Milie.
