Arnold Schwarzenegger vows revenge on Oprah for advising Maria Shriver to leave

Arnold Schwarzenegger blames Maria Shriver’s best friend Oprah for his upcoming divorce.

According to CelebDirtyLaundry.com, Schwarzenegger has vowed to get revenge on Oprah Winfrey for meddling in his family affairs and encouraging Maria Shriver to leave.

Schwarzenegger Feels His Divorce is Oprah’s Fault

There’s no doubt in Schwarzenegger’s mind that his pending divorce is all Oprah’s fault.

Maria Shriver stood by Schwarzenegger’s side when he was accused by numerous women of fondling them, or touching them inappropriately.

After confessing to Maria that he’d fathered a lovechild with a member of their household staff, and kept it hidden from her for more than 10 years, he was certain that Maria would stand by him through this, too. But it seems that Oprah was largely responsible for convincing Maria Shriver to leave.

Initially, Schwarzenegger suspected Maria Shriver’s cousin, Robert Kennedy Jr., her main family confidant, of being the person who advised her to go.

But one of their mutual friends told Schwarzenegger, Maria had confided that her best friend Oprah was the first person she told about Schwarzenegger’s infidelity, and his love child, and that it was Oprah who told her she should leave. Oprah Winfrey and Maria Shriver have known each other for years, having started their careers in broadcast journalism around the same time.

Schwarzenegger Thought He could Convince Maria Shriver to Return

However, Schwarzenegger was prepared to do whatever was necessary to persuade her to come back. He not only apologized to Maria and his family personally, he also issued a public apology, and to their friends said he became more attentive, and more loving towards Maria.

He was evidently making some headway because TMZ.com reported that Maria’s friends said she now felt ambivalent about ending her marriage, admitting to them that Schwarzenegger still had “emotional power” over her.

He was furious with Oprah for convincing his wife that it was in her best interests not to return, and empowered her to file for a divorce.

Maria Shriver Prepares for Her New Life as a Divorcee

Oprah offered more than advice to her friend Maria Shriver. She also offered Maria a job.

When she’s ready to work again, Maria Shriver has a spot as a talk show host waiting for her on Oprah's new OWN Network.

Or she can accept one of the many offers made to her by the major networks.

Maria was once a top journalist but had to give up the career she loved when Schwarzenegger became governor of California.

According toTMZ.com, Maria is expediting the renovations because she’s anxious to get back to work.
