Arnold Schwarzenegger to star in 'Terminator 5'

It has been confirmed by the “Last Action Hero” himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, that he will be starring in “Terminator 5.”

Bleeding Cool reported today that he made the claim during a press day for “The Last Stand.”

There is no word yet on how they are going to include the aged actor in the role of an un-aging robot designed to be indestructible, but if the CGI in “Terminator: Salvation” has gotten any better since then they could just digitally create a new him for the whole flick.

Producer David Ellison and Megan Ellison have been working to bring the flick to the big screen, and just recently they hired Patrick Lussier (“Drive Angry”) and Laeta Kalogridis (“Shutter Island”) to write the screenplay.

There are still no details on the plot or who might direct, but hopefully it will be more accepted by audiences than Schwarzenegger’s most recent outing.
