Armstrong returns to Golden State

The Golden State Warriors signed center Hilton Armstrong to a 10-day contract as from the Warriors’ D-League affiliate in Santa Cruz, the team announced Sunday.

Armstrong's call-up comes amid injuries to starters Andrew Bogut (pelvis/groin contusion) and David Lee (hamstring).

This is the 29-year-old's third stint with Golden State this season. The 6-11 big man has played in eight games with the Warriors averaging 2.3 rebounds in 4.4 minutes.

Armstrong has appeared in 32 games (23 starts) with Santa Cruz this season, averaging 12.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.75 blocks (seventh-best in the D-League) in 28.2 minutes while hitting 55.9 percent from the field (ninth).

He's played in 285 NBA games for the Hornets, Kings, Rockets, Wizards, Hawks and Warriors since entering the league in 2006. Armstrong has also played professionally in France, Greece and China.

He wears uniform No. 57.
