This Friday, January 3rd at the Tribal Cafe will be a great place to check out some fun, unique, interesting, amazing, sweet (other awesome adjectives, etc.) up-and-coming local bands from the LA area. Arms That Work will take the stage as part of a line up that includes QunQ, Roman Roze, and Craig Elkins for a night that will surely re-define every aspect of all human life as we know it! Was that a gross overstatement? Be at the Tribal Cafe this Friday and find out for yourself.
Playing instrumental math-rock out of Eagle Rock, CA, Arms That Work is not your average music group. In fact, “group” is probably inaccurate as they are a two-piece consisting of Tyler Rogers (Guitar) and Justin Phelps (Drums). Regardless of their lack of typical members, Arms will surely blow your musical minds with their unique song-structure, classic riffs, spacey effects, and their catchy yet unpredictable sound. Check out this video and see for yourself.
Following some recent line-up changes and a brief hiatus, Arms That Work are preparing to record their second EP. At the Tribal Cafe this Friday they will likely be debuting some new material from their new, upcoming record so you don't want to miss it.
The Show starts at 7pm so get there early to catch all the bands in their musical glory.
