This year the Arkansas Shakespeare Festival has expanded beyond the company's normal stage at Reynolds Performance Hall at UCA in Conway. While the Shakespeare Festival will still be staging shows at Reynolds, they are also bringing work to the grassy lawn at the Hendrix Village there in Conway and the Argenta Community Theatre in North Little Rock.
We have seen the Shakespeare Festival's production of As You LIke It at the Hendrix Village and found it quite charming and delightful (the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reviewer quoted below has feelings very similar to ours). There are activities for kids and the production will keep you entertained.
That's not bad for a pay-what-you-can performance. Here is a small note about "As You LIke It."

Please join us for our final performance TONIGHT at 7:30 pm at The Village Green at Hendrix for our final Conway performance of As You Like It! VERY family-friendly, so treat dad to something special tonight!
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette writes that during the "enjoyable evening...the game performers offered a spirited take on the Shakespeare comedy" and that "the decision to take it outdoors was a smart one."
Come see for yourself--and come early with the kids to enjoy free crafts and a preshow from 7-7:30.
AND DONT FORGET--Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat opens THIS Thursday in Reynolds Performance Hall at 7:30 pm. Tickets are selling fast...
