Donna Fallin loves her Dachshunds, and she loves photography.
So, being the "official photographer" of the Wiener Takes All Dachshund races for the past five years is a combination of all that she loves.
See some of her Wiener Dog races photos from years past and even purchase a CD of the comical races, all to benefit the Bella Vista Animal Shelter in northwest Arkansas.
She knows first hand how great the long comical dogs are because she has two beautiful Dachshunds, Katie and Ozman.

"My father was a photographer. I like to think my enthusiasm for capturing moments in time was his gift to me. Sharing that gift with others has become my calling," says Donna M. Fallin.
She takes wonderful photos, and according to her opening page:
The ordinary "stuff" of life is beautiful to me. Don't get me wrong -- I love the extraordinary too. The great works of nature and of man but for me, it is the simplest things that bring the most emotion. . . the birth of a child, loving, being loved, laughter, tears, rain, sunshine, friends, pets or the accomplishment of a great dream.
The goal of my work is to capture the beauty of these simple, ordinary life-events and emotions . . . and the awe they can inspire. Ordinary miracles happen all around us every day. We can choose to open our eyes to that beauty in each moment we live.

She says, "As the official photographer for Wiener Takes All, Barry and I always attend the races with our wonderful wieners--Katie Scarlet and Ozzie the Lucky Dog. This Year Ozzie was the KING of Wieners and Katie was the QUEEN of Wieners because we and a few of our friends donated the most money in their names to the shelter!!!"
