Arizona paranormal investigators and ghosts enthusiasts all across the country will be heading to the Shanley Hotel in Napanoch, New York at the end of August for another interactive ghost investigation event. The Shanley Hotel is proud to present a traditional Irish Wake on August 23, 2014—and who knows, they just might wake the dead!

The Shanley Hotel is famous for its many secrets of the past. Only the spirits that have remained behind know exactly what those secrets are. It has been whispered by many that these spirits know about the poor unfortunate souls who lost their lives at the hotel and never had a proper sendoff or burial. The Shanley Hotel was at its heyday back in the Roaring 20’s during Prohibition.

Reports from the locals say both the posh Upper Class citizens as well as underworld members of the Irish Mob spent many a good time there. Bad things happened behind the locked doors as well. What secrets did they leave behind?

For those unfortunate spirits who never got the proper sendoff they deserved, your “ghostess”, Mary Gasparo, will honor those lost souls on Saturday, August 23, 2014 by hosting a traditional Irish Wake. It will begin promptly at 8:00 P.M. and go well into the wee hours of the morning. There will be a minister performing the Irish Wake ritual. There is limited space available for this event at $95 per person. Please make your reservations today by going to www.shanleyhotel.com.

“Since this ceremony is honoring those who may have passed during Prohibition times, no alcohol will be on the premises.”
