In addition to on-ice practices and scrimmages amongst Arizona's own pool of rookies and prospects, the Coyotes will square off with rookies from the 2014 Stanley Cup Champion, Los Angeles Kings. The first game will take place on Sept.16 followed by an afternoon game the following day to conclude 2014-2015 rookie camp.
All practices and games will be open and free to the public.
Domi, taken by the Coyotes in the first-round of the 2013 NHL draft is noted to be one of the most likely of the prospects to leap into the league where his father and former Toronto Maple Leaf, Tie, got under the skin of his opponents from 1989-2006.
Unable to crack the Coyotes lineup last fall, Domi was one of the more dominant players in the Ontario Hockey League, where he amassed 93 points (34 goals, 59 assists) through 61 games with the London Knights. If he is held off the opening-night roster yet again, Domi will return to his Junior team where he will likely lead the team in production for the third consecutive season.
