Arizona boyfriend killing trial resumes. According to a report at Fox News, the trial for Accused murderer, Jodi Arias, resumed today.
Prosecutors claim Arias killed her lover, Travis Alexander, in a fit of rage back in 2008. The Arizona boyfriend killing, according to prosecutors, happened after a "day of sex and photographs" when Arias became jealous of a trip Alexander was planning to Mexico.
Last week Arias, who initially claimed she was not at Alexander's home when he was attacked and killed, testified that she did kill Alexander -- in self defense.
Travis Alexander was found dead by friends in his bathroom back in 2008. He had been stabbed and slashed 27 times, his throat was slit, and he was shot in the head.
Arias claims Alexander was a controlling person who belittled her, called her names, and used her for sex throughout their 5-month relationship. She claims at one point she woke up to Alexander having sex with her.
If convicted of the first-degree murder charge, Arias is facing the death penalty.
