Arizona Art Alliance Gallery is closing

The Arizona Art Alliance Gallery located at the Pavilions at Talking Stick will be closing at the end of this month, on April 27, 2014. Featuring over 100 juried artists in every medium, this will be a devastating loss to the local art community. The Arizona Art Alliance is working on relocating their gallery, so please check their website for updated information.

The current and last exhibition in this gallery, “How Sweet It Is!” is a celebration of the gallery’s fourteen years of success. The exhibition will run through closing day, Sunday, April 27, 2014. There will be an artist celebration reception on Saturday, April 26th from 6:00 – 9:00pm.

There are a few workshops left before the gallery space closes, please visit the schedule for more information on registration and payment.

  • Alstroemeria Flowers: Paint Like Georgia O’Keefe! With Valerie Toliver, Sunday, April 6th from 10:00 – 5:00pm $98
  • Abstract Expressionism with Lee Kaster, Tuesday, April 15th from 1:00 – 5:00pm $65
  • Introduction to Encaustic with Bela Fidel. Sunday April 24th from 1:00 – 4:00 pm $95

The Arizona Art Alliance Gallery was founded by the Arizona Art Alliance, a non-profit organization of twenty-two art groups representing nearly four thousand artists statewide. The Alliance is committed to the promotion and appreciation of local artists, and strives to educate and enrich the local community through various youth and at-risk-adult outreach and mentoring programs.
