Arie Luyendyk Jr. says competing for Emily Maynard's hand ruined his love life

Arie Luyendyk Jr. wishes Emily Maynard nothing but the best on her engagement but it seems that he has a bit of regret of going on "The Bachelorette" and competing for her hand. Arie spoke to Radar Online about his love life post-'Bachelorette' and the article, posted on Tuesday, Jan. 14, shows that, unlike Emily, he has yet to find that special someone with whom he wants to spend the rest of his life with.

“The show cursed my love life. Before the show, I was serial monogamous, and now I just can’t seem to find a steady girlfriend," Arie told Radar.

Despite it not having worked out with Emily and now not having a steady girlfriend, he wishes Emily all the happiness that she deserves.

“I’m happy for her. I knew that she was in a serious relationship, so I’m very happy that she’s found that person she’s happy with. I wish her the best,” he said.

Arie is still hoping that he'll find a special girl soon.

“Who knows. Maybe, I’ll meet someone at Sean Lowe’s wedding," he joked.

Joining Arie Luyendyk Jr. at Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici's wedding is probably another ex of Emily Maynard, Jef Holm. In December Jef posted a photo of him with Sean and Catherine, showing just how close he is to the couple and expressing his excitement for the upcoming wedding.

"I would have been the best maid of honor! @seanloweksu @catherinegiudici So excited for them to get married in a couple weeks!" he captioned the photo.

Emily recently announced her engagement to Tyler Johnson. What do you think of her engagement?
