Arianny Celeste squashes 'beef' with Ronda Rousey

According to a March 25 report from Bloody Elbow, UFC ring girl Arianny Celeste made an attempt to put an end to her drama with UFC bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey during this week's episode of Ariel Helwani's "The MMA Hour."

Celeste, a longtime UFC fan girl, told Helwani that there's no feud brewing between her and Rousey.

She says she doesn't know why Rousey dislikes her and that she was always nice to the star judoka in the few times they met.

Celeste says UFC fans will never get to see her fight Rousey because she's not a fighter. She is perfectly happy being a ring girl and she has no interest in becoming a cage fighter.

Celeste has no interest in ever battling Rousey inside the cage, so MMA supporters are just going to have to dream about it.

Nothing is going on. She just, I guess she doesn't like me for whatever reason and I don't know really know what that reason is because I've literally met her twice, and was so polite, and so welcoming, and so excited to have women in the UFC. I don't know what her deal is with me, but I'd rather not even talk about it. I don't even care, she's a fighter and I'm an Octagon girl, it's two completely different things. I'm never going to fight, so people can stir up as much shit as they want.

Analysis: UFC fans have been getting on Celeste for her comments about Rousey being a bad role model. However, it was actually Rousey who started the drama.

She did an interview in 2012, where she said it would be funny if she finished ahead of Celeste in Maxim's "Hot 100" list.

Celeste simply responded to a question about Rousey. She didn't instigate any drama.
