Ariana Grande is turning out to be one of the most exciting young entertainers of this era. Yet, surprisingly she herself says she went through a dark and deranged period in the past reported US Weekly on Aug. 15, 2014. Actually confessions from Grande that she wasn't as squeaky clean when she was a kid as she is today are making her out to be more interesting than ever.
At 21 years old Grande says she has been the most sardonic person you could ever meet. She remembers on her fifth birthday she had a Jaws theme party and all her friends left crying. Grande says that's just the way she is. In fact she shares when she was just 3 or 4 years old her mom thought she might grow up to be a serial killer.
Maybe it's been her hypoglycemic attacks which have made Grande this way. She says she's had to deal with hypoglycemia since she was a young girl. She says sometimes she gets anxious and just forgets to eat. Grande says when she was a young girl this would turn her into the Tasmanian devil.
Apparently Grande is very easily mistaken for an old-school good girl type reports Billboard. This is the same young woman who wears Audrey Hepburn-style strapless gowns and is often seen traveling with her mother. Last year she asked fans to boycott SeaWorld after the controversial documentary "Blackfish" was released.
Grande says she thinks all of this makes people see her as a little cutesy thing. Although she admittedly has appeared unbelievably demure and adorable ever since her days with Nickelodeon on "Victorious" she nevertheless doesn't see herself this way. In her own character sketch Grande says she was "a very weird little girl" when she was growing up in Boca Raton, Florida. With the release of her dynamic new video "Break Free" Grande is showing us all that in the world of creative entertainment starting out life as just s weird little girl might just be where it's at.
