Following the song's premiere, pop singer Ariana Grande released the music video for "Almost Is Never Enough" on Monday. The clip sees Grande and The Wanted's Nathan Sykes laying down the track in a recording studio.
"Almost Is Never Enough," a sultry R&B ballad, is featured on the soundtrack to the movie, "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones." Grande and Sykes duet about a love that is never fully realized. Their song surfaced online a day before the video premiere.
In the "Almost Is Never Enough" video, Grande and Skyes hit up a recording studio to lay down some vocals for the track. Scenes from "The Mortal Instruments" are played throughout the clip and sometimes even mirror what the two singers are doing in the studio. When they aren't recording, Ariana and Nathan are shown playing around and just having a good time on the set. As with most videos for most soundtrack singles, seeing both of them in the studio is a pretty standard scenario.
"Almost is Never Enough" will also be on Grande's debut album, "Yours Truly," which drops on September 3. Sykes is currently promoting his latest single with The Wanted, "We Own the Night." "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" soundtrack will be released on August 20.
