Dallas-Fort Worth based bands - some of whom are internationally known - will perform a day-long benefit for Haitian relief on Sunday, March 7.

The benefit will be held at Brooklyn Jazz Cafe.  More than 15 acts will continuously perform jazz, R&B, rock, funk, blues and gospel beginning at 1 p.m. and throughout the evening until well past midnight.  Scheduled acts include: Malcolm and the Road Crew, Buster Brown Band, Breggett Rideau, Natural Change, Robin Hackett, Pastor Terry Crenshaw, Stop Six the band and many others.  Master of Ceremonies will be top radio personality  Greg Reaves.

This event is sponsored by DFW Artists Care.   This organization is the brainchild of singers Breggett Rideau and Robin Hackett, who say they hope to raise at least $10,000 in donations for Haitian relief.  Admission to this mega-show for a worthy cause is only $10; however, larger donations are welcome.  Proceeds will go to MercyCorps (www.mercycorp.org).

For more information on this event, call Breggett Rideau at 972.741.9228 or Robin Hackett at 940.453.8954.

Brooklyn Jazz Cafe is located at 1701 South Lamar Street,  Dallas, Texas 75215.  The phone number at Brooklyn is 214.428.0025
