Area forester Dwight Barnett to speak at Nashville City Civitan Club on Mar. 6 (Video)

On Weds., Mar. 6, The Nashville City Civitan Club will hold their first of two March luncheon meetings at Swett's Restaurant in West Nashville. The speaker for the civic group will be Dwight Barnett.

The Area Forester for Davidson, Robertson, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties, Dwight Barnett was was recently named the Tennessee Department of Agriculture Division of Forestry's Forester of the Year.

Since Fri., Mar. 1 was Tennessee's Arbor Day, Barnett will do a presentation on “Green Cities – Great Promise” with a focus on the environmental and social value of planting trees in urban areas.
