Are you the worst dancer in LA?!

Apr 13, 2011 -  If you ARE the worst dancer in LA, you may be a winner!  Until April 19, the Pantages’ official Facebook page will host a contest to answer the question: ARE YOU THE WORST DANCER L.A.? The “winner” – clearly most in need of professional help – will win a pair of tickets to the opening night of BURN THE FLOOR, plus participation in a dance workshop featuring the dancers from the sexy ballroom dance sensation that’s playing a limited engagement at the Pantages from April 26-May 8.

ARE YOU THE WORST DANCER IN L.A.? will give Pantages Facebook fans who fancy themselves with “two left feet” the opportunity to upload a short 1-2 minute video of themselves explaining why they know they are the worst dancer in L.A. and then providing proof on video! Video submissions will be accepted from 12:01 am on Wednesday, April 13 through 11:59 pm on Tuesday, April 19.  Broadway/L.A. judges will select up to five finalists, posting those videos on the Facebook contest page. Public voting will take place on Thursday, April 21. The contestant who has entered the video receiving the most votes will receive the dubious distinction of being dubbed “The Worst Dancer in L.A.” when the announcement is made on Friday April 22.

On the heels of a highly successful Broadway run, the electrifying Latin and ballroom dance spectacular BURN THE FLOOR will play the Pantages Theatre for a strictly-limited two week engagement April 26 – May 8, 2011. This Los Angeles engagement will feature So You Think You Can Dance alumni Anya Garnis, Pasha Kovalev, Robbie Kmetoni, Janette Manrara, and Karen Hauer. Also featured is Vonzell Solomon, second runner-up in Season Four of American Idol, who is BURN THE FLOOR’s female vocalist.
