I've been talking with the VP of digital marketing at a company in Los Angeles. I looked at the company's Twitter profile and recommended that, if no person's photo is used as the profile photo, at least the profile bio should mention who is tweeting.
After all, social media means to be social. And it is hard to be social with the name of a company. Who is that company? What kinds of people work there?
If you are involved in the social media for a company, take time now to see if your social media accounts are being social. Or are you just pushing out sales messages from a company name?
Thanks to the ease of revising on social media accounts, do make changes to ensure that you are being social!
