Are you ready for the 2010 Mayhem Festival?

It’s metal. It’s madness. It’s MAYHEM.  On Tuesday July 27th, New England metal heads will have their chance to see some of the biggest names in metal music today take the stage of the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA at the 2010 Mayhem Festival. Bands including Korn, Rob Zombie, Lamb of God, and Five Finger Death Punch as well as some other well known bands like Hatebreed, Atreyu, Norma Jean, Chimaira and Shadows Fall.  Joining them are some up and coming metal names such as female fronted In This Moment led by the absolutely sexy Maria Brink, Vancouver's 3 Inches of Blood, and the brutal Winds of Plague

For the hungry fans who want to devour the music of the metal gods, it will be a true feast to the ears.  Now these fans can meet some of their favorite bands if they’re in the know about a couple of  key opportunities, so here is YOUR chance to be one of the fortunate.  Pay attention.  Rob Zombie will be signing his new album at the Roadrunner Records booth at 4:30 PM that evening, and Korn will relieve him to sign their new album at 5:15 PM. Want to guarantee a spot in line to say a quick hello or “man you F---n ROCK!”? Buy their CDs at the booth. It’s not any more complicated than that, really.

Mayhem is one of those great and laid back concerts where other bands’ members have been known to just walk around the place greeting fans and grabbing their bumper stickers at the ‘I Love Vagina’ booth just like the rest of us. If you’re looking to be a part of something this epic than grab your tickets and your friend with the green Mohawk, hop in a car with your mini grill and some hot dogs, and get there early to do some tailgating.  For tickets to this event, go here.

For more info: Keep tabs on the official Mayhem Fest site and be sure to check back here for up to the minute articles and information on the show and the bands that are playing, CD signing times, new album releases and a few other surprises along the way.
