Are you ready for some poker?

          Since the football season is coming to an end, you may have more time available on the weekends to play poker. Here are some suggestions of where to play:

HARDROCK TAMPA: This room is conveniently located at the corner of I-75 and I-4 inside the Seminole Hardrock Casino. The poker room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Although, casino players must be 21 years old, 18 year-olds can play poker at the Hardrock. The room spreads several different games:
2/4 Limit Texas Hold’em
1/2, 2/5, 5/10 No-Limit Texas Hold’em
2/4 Omaha Hi-Lo with ½ Kill
1/5 Seven Card Stud
In addition, the poker room offers a linked-progressive bad beat jackpot for Texas Hold’em and local progressive bad beat jackpots for Stud and Omaha. In addition, they offer a bonus for Royal Flushes. Be sure to inquire at the poker room for jackpot details.
If you prefer tournament action, the Hardrock offers daily multi-table tournaments; including higher buy-in deepstack tournaments every other Friday night. If you prefer single table action, they offer tournament buy-ins from $50 and up.

LUCKY’S CARD ROOM: This card room is known as “the friendliest card room in town.” It definitely has the feel of a local poker room. The room in located at the Tampa Greyhound track on I-275. They are open daily from 12pm-12am. In addition to poker, they offer simulcast racing. The room spreads the following games:
2 Straight, 2/4 Limit Texas Hold’em
1/2, 1/3, 2/5 No-Limit Texas Hold’em
2/4 Omaha Hi-Lo
Lucky’s offers several different daily promotions. All day, every day they offer Texas Hold’em High Hand jackpots. However, during certain hours they also offer an Aces Cracked promotion.
If you want tournament action, Lucky’s is the place for you. They offer two tournaments each day, some for as low as a $45 buy-in. There are knock-out tournaments on Friday and every tournament is eligible for the tournament spade royal jackpot. Single table tournaments are also available.
