Are You Feeling Artsy?

It was that time of the year again this past weekend in Pembroke Pines. The 14th Annual Arts Festival in the Pines commenced at the Shoppes of Pembroke Gardens parking lot near the Barnes and Noble back entrance. There were a couple artists that attended that were seen years before, but there were also plenty of new up and coming artists that joined in on the fun.
One things that was different this year were the in booth demonstrations that artists were giving. There were a couple of painters and also a sculptor that were showing off their talents for interested buyers.
This year, the City of Pembroke Pines decided to do something a little different and host the Arts Festival in the Shoppes of Pembroke Gardens. With the growing popularity that this outside mall is having, there would be plenty of new Patrons for the art community. Not only would the visitors of the arts be surrounded by shops to mix and match with their art purchases but also with restaurants to fuel their energy to keep on going!
So mark your calendars for next year’s arts festival in the Pines. Location might change but by the looks of the turnout this year, be prepared to shop and eat as much as your Art soul can take!
