Neighborhoods in Columbia, TN may consist of churches, homes/apartments, a local grocery store/gas station, places to eat, and perhaps a recreation center. There are positive and negative aspects that are perhaps visible or invisible. The most important aspect is the people that live there. Individuals and families of various sizes are seen going about their daily lives. One may visit a home to find differences in a healthy strong one and in one that has needs of encouragement. There is an ingredient that helps to overcome challenges, obstacles, and the negative in life. What is it?
The Bible says this about His children, believers in Christ Jesus:
“Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.”(Romans 8:23-25)
Believers have a hope within each of them. He or she should have this hope shining forth in life. Life has meaning because of Jesus Christ. Others should recognize something different about a Christian. The ingredient that helps believers face life’s challenges is hope.
This question is to the believer in Jesus. Are you a neighborhood hope dealer? A Christian businessman out of California has those three words as the company’s brand. Believers should be making other believers extending hope unto them. Others should know that you are a true example of walking and talking like Jesus. You were not always like Jesus. That is where you testimony comes in. Your testimony will give others hope. Do not hold back, but utilize your best efforts sharing Jesus becoming a neighborhood hope dealer.
