It’s tough to make it in the music world. Solution? Become someone who already is successful. That was the thinking of 33-year-old singer and songwriter Toby Sheldon of Los Angeles. The man loves Bieber, so much so that he spent close to $100K to surgically alter his face to actually look like the “Biebs.”
Sheldon said it took five years and “multiple” surgeries to transform his face into a temple for the Canadian singer.
The Bieber lookalike acknowledged he has a fear of aging, and among the procedures he subjected himself to were Aquamid injections (A permanent dermal filler to plump up your face and eliminate wrinkles), hair transplants and a $15K “smile surgery” – a surgical extension of the sides of his mouth.
“It's Justin's smile that gives him his youthful look,” was Sheldon’s rationale.
“My smile surgery took more than a month to recover from,” Sheldon recalled. “And, after my eyelid surgery, I couldn't open my eyes for a week.”
Sheldon is happy however with his so-called new and improved look.
“My friends shower me with compliments,” he says. “They even call me Toby Bieber.”
I can think of a few other things to call this guy…
