Fresh new faces appeared on the new season of the Walking Dead, but as soon as we saw them one already died leaving his girlfriend behind.
The newest trend that I am predicting is the true Zombie love.
We already caught a glimpse of it in a few episodes with the Governor played by David Morrissey and his daughter, who he kept locked away in hopes of a cure. Experiments were done on zombies, trying to see if they had any human qualities left. Even before that in a previous season we witnessed the characters Michonne played by Dana Gurira and her friend Andrea played by Laurie Holden living in the open with a Zombie chained and somewhat trained, that secret is still unrevealed.
This idea of Zombie love is also portrayed in the new season when Rick played by Andrew Lincoln finds a woman who almost looks like a Zombie herself in the open convincing Rick that she needed his help. She lures him back to her camp out, telling him that her and her husband need food. When she gets to the spot with Rick there is this strange feeling like something bad is going to happen and it does. Rick realizes that her husband is a Zombie but what is left of him is his head in a brow sack. She had been with her husband for a while keeping the two of them alive. In the end she pulls out a knife and stabs herself.
The idea of this Zombie love keeps recurring season after season, playing up to what I think is going to be a true interaction of Zombie human connection. Has someone on the outside found a way to reconnect with their Zombie loved one?
What do you think?
