Are UFO's real?

Beyond Contact: A Guide to SETI and Communicating with Alien Civilizations
Brian McConnell

UFO's have been reported for many years. People from all walks of life from all over the world have reported seeing strange lights and objects in the skies above. Doctors, lawyers, police, teachers, politicians, you name it, they have all reported seeing UFO's.

I recently spoke with Travis Walton, who alleges that he was abducted by a UFO back in 1975. His story has survived scrutiny, and he's passed multiple lie detector tests. His story spawned the Hollywood motion picture, "Fire in the Sky" which made his case internationally known. He and six other loggers witnessed this happen. Learn more about Travis Walton's case HERE

Walton told me that when he was brought on board this UFO, he was in a lot of pain. He claims to have been hit by a beam of light, then woke up on board a craft. He has vivid memories of being approached by small figures, with big heads, and large eyes. His case of a UFO abduction is the most renowned report in history. Listen to what Walton had to say about it HERE

Back in 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico, several people witnessed a UFO that allegedly crashed in the desert. Multiple witnesses reported seeing dead aliens, and the wreckage of the crashed UFO scattered over a huge radius. Initially the press reported it as a crashed flying disc, but quickly recanted their report, and said that it was a crashed weather balloon. The government swarmed the area, and the locals that claim to have seen aliens, and craft debris say that they were threatened by government officials never to speak of what they saw.

These are just two cases of literally thousands of UFO reports that have been reported over the years. Many of the reports can quickly be debunked, but there's some that cannot.

I recently spoke with Astronomer Ken Tapping of the National Research Council of Canada. His team, utilizing the Kepler telescope, are actually able to directly image planets outside of our solar system. Technology is advancing fast, and we are discovering more and more extra-solar planets revolving around other stars. Why is this so important regarding the UFO subject? SETI (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) are now able to directly point their attention towards planets that we know are out there. Previous to this, they had to blindly look into the skies. With the Kepler project, they now have a way to listen and look directly at planets outside of our solar system.

Skeptics of UFO's say that the distance between Earth, and another planet outside of our solar system make it very unlikely that we are being visited by other worlds. Some of the planets that we now see using Kepler are about 30 light years away. Brian McConnell, Author of "Contact: A Guide to Setti and Communicating With Alien Civilization" has a very interesting theory. I spoke with him about UFO's and life elsewhere in the universe. He believes that it's possible that we are being visited by robotic probes sent here by alien civilizations. Just as we send robots to Mars, IE Curiosity, Spirit, Viking rovers, alien worlds may be sending probes here. The distance that would have to be traveled by any living species would be challenging, but perhaps not so much for a machine. Check out McConnell's book HERE

Most believe that some sort of UFO activity is indeed happening. The question is whether or not they are from here, or other worlds? The government has spent a lot of time and energy trying to cover things up, so there must be something to the UFO phenomena.
