Many are claiming that it’s just a publicity stunt that Russell Crowe tweeted his four-year-old UFO snapshots for a bit of attention and acclaim but the 48-year-old Australian actor is maintaining that he stands by them being the “real deal!”
The very realistic (though some are in opposition!) photographs of UFO’s were reportedly taken over Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens and finally pieced together in a video that was posted to YouTube.
Crowe’s representative has confirmed that the shots were taken four years ago from his office in Australia, though he is unsure why Russell all of a sudden decided to tweet them only recently.
News.com.au, the site that interviewed Crowe’s representative thinks perhaps it was to draw attention to his new film “Broken City,” (in which he plays “Mayor Hostetler” and also starring Mark Wahlberg and Catherine Zeta-Jones) which Russell feels was not getting enough publicity…
Crowe insists that the UFO’s are not an optical illusion created by lens flairs, car tail lights or boat lights from Sydney Harbor.
The photos were reportedly taken from his Canon 5D without a flash, perched up on his balcony in the suburb of Woolloomooloo to capture the flight of fruit bats which are known to fly around in the Botanic Gardens.
Real or not the Russell Crowe Sydney UFO photographs have our attention!
