Are the Jeff Davis Parish murders the work of a serial killer?

Are the Jeff Davis Parish murders the work of a serial killer?

It may be time for the authorities in Louisiana’s Jefferson Davis Parish to admit they have a serial killer on their hands.

Necole Jean Guillory, 26 went missing Sunday She was found Wednesday near Interstate 10 in Egan, between Jennings and Crowley Louisiana.

The lower half of her body was unclothed, according to Acadia Parish Coroner Mark Dawson. She appeared to have been strangled.

She is the eighth woman from the Jennings Louisiana area to have been killed since 2005, all by suffocation or strangulation.
.
The killings began in the spring of 2005. A fisherman discovered the body of Loretta Lynn Chaisson, 28, floating in a drainage canal near Jennings.

The bodies of seven other women, ranging in age from 17 to 29, have been found since then, all in southern Louisiana’s Jefferson Davis Parish.

Police have yet to say the deaths are those of a serial killer. They have said there are similar patterns in the slayings and that they could be the work of one person. One person? Wouldn’t that make the person a serial killer?

Guillory’s body was left in an open area like the others. All lived on the south side of Jennings at some point. Some of the victims knew each other.

Why have they not gotten any further with this? I dont understand how no evidence or anything can be linked this far in. This is crazy! And still more have been killed? What is going on.

I'm from Jennings, LA and I'll tell you what's going on, Sheriff Ricky Edwards doesn't want people to know. He has said before in an interview BEFORE the last girl was killed that he has everything under control. There is a lot of speculation going on around town that the police have something to do with the murders. Jesse Ewing was a cop that was fired for giving evidence to a P.I. to give to the F.B.I. instead of his superiors. Every time a girl is killed they automatically bring up their criminal and drug history and I don't think it should matter. These girl were someone's FAMILY, it doesn't matter what they did. It matters that their lives were STOLEN from them. This person or persons need to be stopped and I for one don't think the cops are going to.
