Depending on who you believe, Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are either just good friends, dating, or have already broken up.
While the official party line is that the co-stars are merely colleagues, a paparazzo's photos of Pattinson driving away from Stewart's LA home after an alleged sleepover date surfaced this week. Of course, there are no discernible landmarks in the pictures, making it entirely debatable whether or not the candid shots were taken someplace else. Of course, It makes for a better copy if Rob was leaving Kristen's house after an all-night love session, and not, say, going out to get coffee and cigarettes.
While no definitive evidence exists that the two have hooked up, the tabloids and gossip columnists like E!'s Ted Casablanca seem to be trying to will it to true. The pair have already been dubbed "Robsten."
Meanwhile, pillar of journalistic integrity the Herald Tribune claims that Kristen dumped the "World's Sexiest Man" over his closeness with his Remember Me co-star, Emilie de Ravin. If the tabloid is to believed, then why were Pattinson and Stewart seen together last night at Rob's pal Bobby Long's concert?
They will also be appearing together at this weekend's "Teen Choice Awards."
Meanwhile, debate is raging among Twi-Hards over whether or not Rob and Kristen should become a real-life couple. The pro-Robsten camp is rooting for the beautiful pair to fall in love and have a storybook romance, a la their fictional counterparts, Bella and Edward. The anti-Robsten camp is opposed to that for several reasons, chief among them being a love affair gone sour would jeopardize Rob and Kristen's incredible on-screen chemistry and irreparably damage the highly emotional third and fourth installments of the Twilight saga, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Then there are those fans who don't want Rob and Kristen to be together because they dream of marrying Pattinson themselves, and living happily ever after.
Seriously.
The only thing for sure is that only Pattinson and Stewart know for sure what the status of their relationship is, and they're not talking.
UPDATE: This morning, Kristen was spotted leaving the Chateau Marmont, where Rob is staying while he's in L.A. Of course, they could have been runnning lines from the Eclipse script, or telling ghost stories, or just hanging out, watching TV...

Exactly, only Rob and Kristen know exactly what is going on between them. I'm glad that neither one is talking about their personal relationship. I wish people would just leave them alone, personally, I think they would be great together since they seem to have great chemistry.

At least some is telling it straight.. no one knows what the hell is goning on between the two of them. It just all makes me laugh!! Who really cares if they are or arn't together!! Don't we have more important stories or better ones, or worse ones!! Go find Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan they like living in the lime light ans stop bothering the ones who don't wanna be bothered!!
Well honestly I do care if he is with her... But it's none of our business!! And they should not be bothered about what goes on in there personal life. But i'm sure like me the rest of the world is tired of all the he said she said crap... Although on the surface it may appear that I'm jumping on the bandwagon by writing about the non-story that is the alleged Pattinson/Stewart relationship, my point is that the media keep trying to make something out of nothing. They do make a beautiful couple, but they have two more movies to make together, which I'm sure is the priority for both of them.

I think they are together and I think they are way more in love than people think and I think they will wind up married. Mark my words!
Personally I don't think that Rob and Kristen are together. But that is just my opinion. I mean if they were don't you think they would have told reporters a long time ago? They have amazing chemistry on set, and I'm sure they are really close friends off set. I think we need to give these two a break and let them be. I admire both Rob and Kristen as actors and wish them nothing but the best with their future projects. =)
listen guys, rob and kristen are professional actors. they have a job to do with the movies coming up and i know that if they are a couple and they happen to broke up. as actor, they will do their job good and right. that's they living, money they earn. i know that they will be the couple everyone wants. they love each other and need to have some kind of privacy. they were meant for each other and their sign is the scene where kristen is kissing robert in the bedroom, a perfect heart shape of their heads together. if that isn't an omen. yes, they are beautiful together..
there NOT together people need to find other uses of there lives. kristen already has a bf thats shes been with for year's!!! rob and emilie never had a thing thats their charecters in the movie remember me. and kristen and rob are really good friends but the only romantic thing they have in commen is bella and edward. i swear there gonna end up going crazy if the damn press doesn't stop making up ridicoulous over obvious lies

AMEN!!!!! And thank you for responsible reporting. Everyone needs to stay calm until they "come out" if that's where it's leading. They may be staying mum because of contractual obligations, which makes sense. But, they are both such good actors that I think they will be professional no matter what! Friends, lovers, enemies, - love them both whatever!

What do you mean they are public? They are actors, they are human beings, they are people who have a rights just like you. Just because someone is an actor doesn't give you the right to know anything. Honestly it was the tacky article title that caught my eye, I really couldn't believe anyone actually used that title. Do we really care what they do with their lives? Their only obligation to their fans is to entertain them through the movies. What they do with their personal lives is not our business. Leave them alone.
Seriously, folks, if you read beyond the deliberately ironic headline, it's pretty clear that I'm sympathetic to Rob and Kristen and their almost total lack of privacy. They're young, beautiful, talented, and portraying iconic characters in a hugely popular franchise with an incredibly devoted fan base. The paparazzi and gossip columnists are covering them because there is such a tremendous amount of interest in them.
And since it was about 20 comments ago, I'll repeat my earlier comment:

Thire have been a lot of reports of late that they are together and that they are not some articals are over a year old and are said to be from the last week summet have said they are not but have had the stars separet for interv so i think that they are together and just being cearful about not saying a thing when all movies are filmed then they will probly come out public so let leav them be.
yeah, but Rob did ask Kristen to marry him during the shoot of Twilight - 4 times, he's a very serious guy. Talks alot about waiting for THE ONE, and it's clear he thinks KS is it. He fell in love with her, he practically admitted it. I think they could elope.

All videos and pictures show me that they are together and I answered they are relationship thats it Im done. I Read one of comment about marriage, I dont think so I remember that Kristen had said she is not ready for marriage or pregnant til she is 25 years old then. I do beleive they are relationship yes.. If they got married i would be very surprised . I have to wait and see after breaking dawn then there are more proof kissing and hand hold and travel together.. Just wait and see what happen after breaking dawn then. Im still beleive that Robsten are real relationship thats it. I m done now ..:-)
You know it is funny. Robert gave an interview on the 4th stating “I read the script, and I barely even knew that they were books too. The only reason I went to the audition was to see Kristen, because I’d just seen ‘Into the Wild’. Of course [I had a bit of a crush]! No, we are just very good friends … I am young, free and single.” if you don't believe that...it is actually a video and you can hear it from his own mouth people. My goodness I have seen crazy fans but fans that delude themselves this much based off of some sketchy or even fake photos is just down right scary. Robert has good reason to fear his fans if they sit there and try to tell him who he is dating. If i were them I would just come out and say IT IS NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS. He is such a nice guy and really seems to like his privacy and simplicity. Lord know he can't get that with fans like most of yall that have commented, poor guy.
From what has been published about Rob, I came to admire who I was told he was. Truthfully, none of us really know what his real character and personality are like. I've never cared for Kristen as an actress or by the way she comes across in interviews (why must she constantly use the "F" word?) But if this is the kind of girl he likes, then who am I to judge? Their lives are their own to do with as they please. However, I am majorly annoyed that so much ATTENTION is going to their private lives. I'm not anticipating the release of New Moon nearly as much as I was Twilight. Does anybody out there even remember how beautifully Stephenie Meyer brought these characters to us? Now I can't go into the theatre and get lost in the story on the screen. I'll be watching Rob and Kristen falling in love. Seeing real-life couples in a movie is like, well, not seeing a film but a reality show. I want to see Bella and Edward. I wish the media would leave the actor's private lives alone.
