Following last week's reports that Pippa Middleton and George Percy were dating, today, another source says just the opposite. According to “Us” magazine, the two are just good friends and are perplexed about how the story got so out of hand. Time will tell whether they really are dating again. Since news came via a tabloid, “The Sun,” and rebuttal came via a celebrity magazine, planning their marriage is a little premature.
George Percy is the son of the Duke of Northumberland. The Duke owns Alnwick Castle, better known as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; last year, Pippa attended the wedding of George's sister, Lady Katie Percy, at St. George's Church in Alnwick. Pippa and George have been friends since the time they both studied at Edinburgh University, and reportedly dated before, in 2008. They both run in the same social circles. (Story continues below.)
Pippa Middleton was most recently in the news when “The Daily Mail” and others claimed that Oprah Winfrey, Matt Lauer, Ellen DeGeneres and Barbara Waters were in a “bidding war” for her first chat show interview. The various parties involved have disclaimed any such war, which would presumably talk about her role as a royal bridesmaid, new party planning book, and role as a celebrity ambassador during the Olympic Games.
Pippa Middleton is reportedly a professional party planner for Table Talk, an event planner in London, and also writes “The Party Times” for her parents' business, Party Pieces.
