Does the mayor of Los Angeles party with Charlie Sheen? According to a Jan. 7 Huffington Post report, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa does not hit the town with Sheen.
Charlie tweeted a photo of himself and the mayor taken at Hotel El Ganzo in Cabo, Mexico. Sheen implied that the mayor was attending the opening of his hotel bar just to party with him and wrote that Mayor Villaraigosa “knows how to party”.
This sent much backlash headed at the mayor, as being affiliated with the hot mess that is Charlie Sheen is simply not a good political or professional move. Villaraigosa has since made it clear that he only had a very brief conversation with Sheen. When Charlie asked for a photo with him, he obliged as he does for everyone else.
Villaraigosa and Sheen do have something in common – both have been frequent targets of the media. Mayor Villaraigosa recently chided the media for commenting on his divorce, private life and printing rumors that he’s dating Eva Longoria.
