On Feb. 5 the English indie rock band Arctic Monkeys announced a handful of headlining tour dates for the spring of 2013. The North American tour begins with their performance on May 24 at the Sasquatch! Music Festival and ends on May 31 in Dallas. You can view a complete list of tour dates below.
During the Arctic Monkeys' short spring 2013 North American tour the band will perform six shows over a week long time span. No news has been announced on when the band's upcoming fifth studio album will be released.
In March of 2012 I interviewed drummer Matt Helders and he said, "This time we will probably have the summer to relax a bit, but again going back to “R U Mine?” we are quite excited to do more songs. We like doing stuff in soundcheck and working stuff out there. You can’t really do that and leave it for a year; we kind of have to carry on in a way just for sanity."
