Archery Fundraiser being held for Wounded Warriors

The Wounded Warrior Project's Archery Program is having a weekend fundraiser at the end of February.

The two-day event is Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26. On Saturday, there are two sessions, one is from 11 am to 1 pm and the second is from 1 pm to 3 pm. The cost is $25 per sesson.

The $25 gets you two hours of target practice with bows and arrows. Nationally Certified Archery instructors will be on hand to help you get going. Included in your fee is a BBQ lunch with burgers, hot dogs chips and a drink. All money raised goes toward buying equipment for the Wounded Warrior Project's Miami-Dade county Archery Program.

On Sunday, the day starts at 9:30 am. The Wounded Warriors will be competing against each other as they shoot what's called an "Indoor Round." Come out and support them.

The weekend takes place at the Everglades Archery Range at 17415 SW 264th St. (Bauer Dr.) Homestead, Florida.
