“The archery course at Kenlake is one of a handful of public archery courses in Kentucky,” said Parks Commissioner Elaine Walker. “We look forward to this new amenity attracting tournaments and guest to the Land Between the Lakes area.”
The course, designed by champion archer Jennie Richardson, will include realistic targets at varying distances for all skill levels. The park plans to use the course for tournaments for different age groups and it will also be open to park guests year round. The course will be open during daylight hours.
The fee for using the course will be $12.00 a day for adults and $5.00 a day for those 18 and under. An annual pass will be offered for $75.00. Archers will need to supply their own bows and arrow (field tips only).
The course will be open for free on opening day.
